Industrial, Safety & Asset Labels

Durable custom labels, asset tags, safety markings and graphic overlays for machinery, equipment and electronic products—planned around the surface, information requirements and operating conditions.

Plan the Right Industrial Label

The right construction starts with where and how the label will be used. Surface, exposure, information and application method determine the material and adhesive—not a fixed material list.

Surface & Adhesion

Powder-coated metal, textured housings, plastics and curved surfaces require materials and adhesives matched to the surface profile and bond area.

Operating Environment

Oils, cleaners, chemicals, abrasion, moisture, weather and temperature changes influence material, print protection and adhesive selection.

Information & Readability

Barcodes, QR codes, serial numbers, ratings and safety instructions must remain clear at the required viewing and scanning distance.

Application & Supply Format

Manual or machine application determines label dimensions, spacing, roll direction, core size and finished supply format.

From Industrial Label Specification to Production

After the application is defined, the material, adhesive, artwork, variable data and supply specifications are reviewed and approved before production.

Controlled Production & Supply

Die-cut dimensions, spacing, roll direction, core size and packing are controlled according to the approved order and application method.

Industrial, Safety & Asset Label FAQs

Practical answers about service conditions, traceability data, safety specifications, on-site printing, and sampling.

What conditions should an industrial label be specified to withstand?

Define the application surface, expected service life, temperature range, and exposure to moisture, abrasion, cleaners, oils, chemicals, UV, or outdoor weather. Smooth metal, powder-coated equipment, textured housings, and low-surface-energy plastics can require different constructions. The face material, adhesive, print protection, and application method should be reviewed together and tested on the actual surface when conditions are demanding.

Can barcodes, QR codes, asset IDs, and serial numbers use variable data?

Yes. Labels can be produced with changing barcodes, QR codes, asset IDs, serial numbers, and other variable information. Please provide the data file, sequence rules, code format, required human-readable text, and any matching or verification requirements. Code dimensions, contrast, quiet zones, label finish, and intended scanning distance should also be reviewed so the approved layout remains readable.

Can you produce warning and safety labels to our required specification?

Yes. Warning text, symbols, colors, dimensions, language, placement, and any project-specific standard should be supplied or approved by the customer. We can review the artwork and production construction against the provided specification, but the buyer remains responsible for confirming the applicable regulatory and workplace requirements for the product and destination market.

Can labels be supplied blank or partially printed for adding information on site?

Depending on the material and protective construction, labels can be planned with blank areas for later thermal-transfer or other compatible printing. Provide the printer model, ribbon or print method, print area, required data, and expected service conditions. The complete label-and-ribbon combination should be tested because print adhesion and durability vary by surface and overlaminate.

What is the minimum order quantity, and can I order samples first?

Our standard minimum order quantity is 10,000 pcs. Small-batch sampling is also available before bulk production; customers are responsible for the sampling fee and shipping cost.
